The setting: Bright and early in DC.
The place: Cherry Trees galore (near them)
The couple: Roger and Kirsten

The weather called for thunderstorms. In fact, it was predicted, at 100 percent chance no less, that it would be raining all morning.  That didn’t stop us or this wonderful couple from getting up at 5AM and peeking out the window to see what the REAL weather deal was. No rain!

Kirsten and Roger opted for the Cherry Blossom shoot in DC.  Every year, in DC around the tidal Basin, the Cherry Trees grace us with their beautiful blooms.  We arrived at sunrise to find other revelers already snapping away at the beautiful landscape.  We dug right in and started snapping away ourselves.  Here are some images of this wonderful couple.

This has been such a busy season for us that we missed posting some favorites from recent engagement sessions.  We love the casual nature of the engagement session and we find getting to know our couples through the lens of photography is a blast.  We have plenty to keep us busy for the next few months and promise to keep our blog updated with the latest images.  We’ll be on the ball going forward! Following is a small compilation of images from recent sessions.  Enjoy!

The setting:
Early morning in Washington, DC.
The place:  Jefferson Memorial and beyond.
The couple:  Jesse and Stefan

Jesse and Stefan braved the cold wind, the crowds in awe of the Cherry Blossoms and the traffic of the National Marathon to take pictures at
the Jefferson Memorial.  We thoroughly enjoyed the company of this couple. Following our some of our favorites from their
engagement session.  It goes without saying that the foliage in certain areas was absolutely stunning.
