Last year was a great year and we want to thank all the wonderful couples.  This year started out as one of the busiest in our history!  We are in mid January and have plenty to keep us busy…especially with engagement sessions.

Our website was revamped in 2007 and we are continually updating the site to make it more user friendly and accessible.  One of the latest updates to the site is the client proofing section.  We have entirely did away with the previous method of proofing and replaced it with a much more responsive and user friendly interface.  The most important aspect of the new proofing system is the speed at which one can browse through a multitude of images.  Whether your gallery has 10 images or 900, the new client section helps to narrow down your favorites by allowing you to “tag” them as such.  This was previously impossible with our older system.  This is only one of many improvements to the proofing system.

Check back with us and see what we are doing to make your experience more wonderful!

This is the official start of Erin Marie Photography’s Image Of The Week.

In this photo, Brian and Dallas fulfilled their wish of a portrait under a cherry blossom tree.  They braved the cloudy skies and the threat of rain to take this beautiful portrait prior to their ceremony.  The surreal feel of the portrait was accomplished by softening the landscape while maintaining the focus of the portrait on the couple.  Brian and Dallas added their own touch through their emotional gaze.  What we love best about this photo is how the detailed ripples in her dress contrast with the soft effect of the rest of the image.
